I heard gasps and my heart fluttered until people started applauding and I looked around and realized it was a television/film shoot! I think it was for Sprite, but I guess when I see it aired or in a movie I will know for sure what it's for :)

Meat on SALE!

At Ralphs I stocked up on some Jennie-O Turkey... why not when it's BOGO Free!?!?

I always freeze the meat into the portion size that I will need to use when I decide to cook it. 

~Another funny shopping story: A single guy was picking up some Jennie-O and he only grabbed one. I said, "Get another it's free!" He told me he didn't want that much meat because he was the only one eating it so I told him about freezing the meat and he immediately grabbed a second one! Saving people money one shopper at a time :)

FREE Gum at Rite Aid!

Once again I managed to walk into a store and not pull out my wallet! (This time my husband was around to witness it and he said it felt wrong! haha)

This week Rite Aid has Trident Vitality Gum on sale for BOGO free and I was able to us my BOGO coupon from 3/3 insert. 

I haven't tried it yet, but my husband is currently chewing "Awaken" and he said it's pretty good.

~Funny story about this purchase is when I pulled out my coupon the cashier said not to "waste" it as it is already on sale for BOGO... I laughed and told her I want to use it because I want 2 for free! She was skeptical, but I made her into a believer after the manager had to be called up to approve the sale.

Saving on Dinner

My husband and I had a nice night out getting sushi and hanging out with my brother and his wife, while my mom and step-dad watched my baby and my brother's two girls. 

We LOVE sushi so why not get it at a discount?

Shelter Collection of (almost) Free stuff

To date I have only spent about $2.30 on over $20 worth of stuff... not too shabby.

The Importance of Good Customer Service

I used to work in customer service at a few different stores, and I am extremely aware of how important it is for a company to have good customer service.

Recently, I purchased two items at Soap.com and when the shipment arrived the Oxo Brite that came was open and the contents were spilling out. It wasn't a huge mess and I wasn't ready to return the item, but I wanted Soap.com to know what they were sending out to their customers.

I sent this e-mail:

I was disappointed when I opened my box today because the Oxo Brite that I purchased was open and spilling out. I might not be buying from your location anymore if products come not properly packaged. I am sad by this because I like your prices and quick shipping, but do not like getting less of a product I paid for.

I have been wanting to purchase some new wedges for quite a while now (my old ones broke as a result of wearing them so often and buying them about 6 years ago).
