How to Save Money With Amazon...

Want free shipping AND Prime instant streaming videos? For only $79/year (about $6.58/month) you can get some awesome benefits that include: FREE two-day shipping on qualifying products, using 1-click as a prime member (set up a default address, payment method, and shipping speed), and of course the amazing Prime instant videos. With the cost of gas rising, why not sit at home and have things delivered to your door while you are watching Sesame Street courtesy of Amazon Prime Instant Videos? This cost is even better than what Netflix is going to be charging starting next month and with the added bonus of FREE shipping... Netflix who? Instant video is not avaliable to Amazon Student, Amazon Mom, or as a guest of another membership, but it does include "unlimited, commercial-free, instant streaming of 5,000 moveies and TV shows."

To sign up for a FREE month trial of Amazon Prime simply head to the Amazon Prime page

Are you a mom? If the answer is no, then have no fear, because you don't need to be a mom to sign up for this great oppurtunity. To sign up for Amazon Mom simply head to Amazon.com/Mom  and fill out the required information. There is no minumum purchase requirement to become a member (which I LOVE) and by joining you will automatically receive Amazon Prime which is FREE two-day shipping! Some other info to be aware of: you get three months just for signing up and you can gain an additional 9 months of benefits by spending $25 on qualifying products from the Amazon baby store within a single order. Diapers and wipes are something that have to be bought with a new child so why not save 30% with Amazon Subscribe & Save combined!?!?
I was so thankful to hear about this program soon after I had my daughter and really enjoyed getting diapers delivered to my door 2 days after ordering them. I have built a nice deliverer-receiver relationship with my UPS man and we love to swap stories about our kids that happen to be only 2 months apart.

Textbook Student

I have not tried Amazon student, because I happily used Amazon Mom, but if you are a student this is a great oppurtunity! If you joing Amazon Student, you will get FREE two-day shipping for six months (more than Amazon Mom) with Amazon Prime shipping benefits.  It also looks like Amazon is jumping on the wagon of offering up cheaper textbooks, which is great with the ridiculous price hikes that keep happening at schools all over. I am so thankful that I already graduated, but if you are looking to save some money on textbooks, simply head over to Amazon's Textbook store and save up to 90% on used textbooks, up to 30% on new textbooks, and get up to 70% back when you sell them through Amazon's Book Trade-In Program

Next to Amazon Mom, this is my favorite feature that Amazon offers. Eating healthy and nutritious food is very important to my family, but not always the easiest on the bank account. I love finding things cheaper through Amazon that can be delivered right to my door! When you see an item that qualifies for subscribe & save simply it will show the product's price and then the new price with an additional 15% discount will show under the original price in a blue box. Recently, I purchased Annie's Homegrown Cheddar Bunnies (a healthier version of goldfish crackers) and here is an example of the pricing:

It shows that this product is on sale for $24.33 and with an additional 15% OFF the price goes down to $20.68, which makes it $0.57/pack!

Just a little hint, you can sign up for subscribe & save and then cancel at any time! I LOVE this, because some things I only want to buy once so I subscribe and then cancel the next day.

  • Amazon routinely changes their sales and special offers page so it's helpful to check back regularly to get the highest savings!

Other ways to save through Amazon...
